15gifts and Vodafone shortlisted for Retail Systems Awards 2021

Vodafone and 15gifts have been shortlisted for the Online Innovation of the Year category of the prestigious Retail Systems Awards 2021, for the work done enhancing Vodafone’s online retail customer experience and performance in 2020.

Vodafone worked with 15gifts to develop a bespoke version of its psychology-powered guided selling engine and integrate it across key areas of its retail site – with exceptional results.

15gifts has also been shortlisted for two other Retail Systems Awards –  Ecommerce Technology Vendor of the Year and Experiential/Personalised Retail Solution of the Year for a range of developments on the 15gifts platform, which uses consumer psychology, unique data and advanced machine learning to help customers make confident buying decisions.

“We are immensely proud to be shortlisted with Vodafone for a Retail Systems Award, and to be shortlisted for two other awards in our own right. It is a testimony to the great work the teams at 15gifts and Vodafone put in over 2020 to deliver a better and more effective online customer buying experience, and to our ability to innovate in one of the fastest-changing retail environments we have ever known” Tom Cox, CEO of 15gifts

Humanisation, anthropomorphism and intuition

No matter how effective a personalised online experience is, there is one aspect of traditional in-store selling that many digital platforms still struggle to compete with: real people.

Personalised online interactions are effective, yet they often lack the warmth of genuine human connections that enhance brand loyalty and customer satisfaction.
