About the role

Our mission is to power the world’s virtual sales conversations and our next milestone in that journey is to create a virtual sales advisor that performs better than a human sales advisor. We are now looking for a CPO to join the team and help us achieve that mission.

Reporting to a product-centric CEO, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating successful products within the B2B or B2B2C SaaS space.

They will have built and motivated highly autonomous and highly efficient product teams and they will have a keen interest in GenAI and how it’s being used to create differentiation.

While CPO experience would be great, this could also be a good opportunity for an experienced Head of Product/Product Director/VP Product who is looking to step up into the CPO role.

The person we’re looking for
  • Extensive experience in a senior product leadership role within B2B or B2B2C SaaS
  • Seasoned in building and owning product strategy and product roadmap
  • Experience of creating highly successful products from ideation to market
  • Brilliant communicator – ability to provide clear and inspiring communication to your team, the business, our customers and our board
  • Proven ability to create autonomous, motivated and high-performing product teams
  • Deep understanding of product development methodologies, optimal team designs and agile practices
  • Commercial mindset – experience of holding commercial KPI accountability
  • Bonus points for experience utilising AI to drive product differentiation
You’ll be responsible for

Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Own product strategy – working closely with the CEO to define strategy and owning execution and communication
  • Own our product roadmap and work with Product Managers to make decisions on where to invest to drive most value
  • Build a live picture of market and user needs to ensure we’re building products that the market and users love
  • Understand the competitive landscape and create product differentiation that drives growth
  • Work with sales and marketing to create an aligned GTM strategy
  • Set product outcomes and goals across teams, aligned to business goals
  • Build a test and learn experimentation strategy to enable continuous improvements
  • Defining and reporting all key product metrics to the business and board

Team Leadership:

  • Build and develop a highly effective product team – providing the support, coaching and tools they need to succeed
  • Developing a culture of communication and feedback throughout your team
  • Implementing right sized processes which optimise with minimal friction

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Partner with our CTO to own the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring regular delivery and successful market adoption
  • Partner with our CTO and cross-functional product teams to define and continuously improve ways of working
  • Champion a customer centric approach to product development – using research to develop customer empathy and inform decision making
